The PCMCA works together with the BCIMCA (BC Interior Masters Curling Association) to support and promote Masters club curling throughout the province. The PCMCA has for many years provided support to clubs to advertise and promote Masters bonspiels and developed competitions known as the Guy Philps Trophy for male curlers 60 years and older, and the Graham Donaldson Trophy for male curlers 70 years and older.
BC Provincial Wheelchair Playdowns
Curl BC will be qualifying two (2) teams to attend the 2025 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championships April 28 – May 3, 2025 in Club de curling de Boucherville, Qué.
Wheelchair curling is generally open to people with significant impairments in lower leg/gait function, who usually require a wheelchair for daily mobility (i.e. spinal injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, or double leg amputation). More specifically, these are athletes who are non-ambulant or only able to walk short distances. International sports classifiers determine the minimum disability and appropriate classification.

Officials In-Person Training!
November 9th and 10th
We are pleased to offer officials training in-person for Free! (Value $40 plus taxes). Thank you to a grant we received from ViaSport in support of the Invictus Games.
What a great opportunity for you or your club to support this training and we are encouraging you to please share with your members. I have attached a PDF poster for you to post in your clubs.
You never know who maybe interested in training to become an Official.
Space is limited and is first come, first serve.
We are offering both the Time Clock Operator (previous Level 1) and the Game Umpire (previous Level 2) course.
Game Umpire (previous Level 2) - November 9th at the Marpole Curling Club 1-9 pm.
Time Clock Operator (previous Level 1) - November 10th at the Vancouver Curling Club 9-5 pm.
